Jeff Bender

Jeff Bender is the President of Bender Engineering. As President, Jeff leads the Bender team in all aspects of the business. This includes engineering and plumbing design, HERS rating, commissioning, LEED consulting and green ratings, Title 24 compliance, solar assessments, etc. Jeff is passionate about energy efficiency ingenuity which shows in the various services Bender Engineering provides. Jeff is a licensed professional mechanical engineer in California, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Hawaii as well as a licensed general contractor in California and Nevada. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and regularly attends continuing education to stay up to date on the ever changing rules and regulations involved in design and construction. When not running Bender Engineering, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and spoiled dog.  Jeff is also an avid rock climber, alpine skier and rider of every manner of bicycle.
